This practical outdoor knife with cord-wrapped handle converts to a harpoon / personal defense spear in seconds. Once converted, the harpoon is an effective weapon for harvesting small game, birds and fish in any survival situation.
Changes easily from knife to harpoon by slotting a shaft with the sharp hawkbill end of the handle and tying the knife in or by threading the accessory blade holder onto a standard broom handle. The hollow handle blade holder features a liquid filled compass in the cap with a compartment for storing fish hooks, line, matches and other survival essentials. The Harpoon comes complete with a quality nylon belt sheath. Designed by custom knifemaker Jerry Hossom.
8.125" overall. 2.75" drop point blade with thumb ridge. One piece 7Cr17 stainless construction with black 550 paracord wrapped handle. Features a sharpened hawkbill pommel to make slotted channels to attach knife. Hardened to 56 HRC. Use paracord to tie the blade into a slotted green wood sapling. Also includes a black Zytel glass nylon blade holder with hollow handle and a threaded screw cap compass. Insert the blade and tie into the blade holder. Then screw onto a standard broom handle. Handle can be used to store survival supplies such as fish hooks, fishing line, matches and other essentials. Black molded polypropylene belt sheath.
